March-Westin Takes Advantage

March-Westin continued to pour on the offense as they faced team Advantage in Monday nights game where they cruised to a 20-3 victory.

After a slow first inning MW threw the hitting machine into high gear and never looked back as they recorded a 9 run second inning and a 10 run fourth inning.

MW had several impressive offensive performances but what they did right was not the news story for the night, it was what went wrong that left everyone talking.

Nick hit not one but two over the outfield fence, showing his apparent selfishness with what was clearly a publicity stunt that cost March-Westin an out; an out that they will never be able to get back. This is just another example of how newfound stardom can bring out the worst in people (Nick is currently the MW home run leader and featured regularly in the MWBall.com Chasing Bonds Update).

Perhaps it was all of the press that also made Johnny lose his focus Monday night as he struck out in the second inning.

Others however thrive under the intense pressure such as Tyler who went 3-3 with two triples and even with the Nick incident The Legion collectively went 9-13.

MW has outscored opponents 69-13 since the loss to John Howard and has since been on a 5 game winning streak. MW will look to continue that streak Saturday as they take on Suncrest Gym and then Webworks at 12pm and 1pm respectively.

Nick thinks that Scott and everyone else is jealous of Nick’s homerun hitting ability.

Nick says don’t hate Nick cause he’s good

It’s not the press but the pressure that Tom puts on all of us to be as good as him. But maybe its not Tom, Nick must be the force behind it all!

I blame Tom. To have him tell you that you are only on the team because you work for March Westin must put large amounts of stress on you.

At least Johnny shows up for all the games. He doesn’t take “vacations” or go on “honeymoons”. He showed up on his anniversary. If that isn’t dedication I don’t know what is. So I say blame Tom for the strike out.

As for the press on March Westin, lately we have been getting ripped by our own press writer. I don’t know what he is mad about. I guess batting 10th your entire life will make you a little bit sour to life.
