500In the latest example of March-Westins “don’t ask don’t tell” policy Derek Smith (pictured on the right) has been added to the 2007 roster. Coach Tom Smith was quick to point out that they are in fact not related, leading some to speculate why Tom would be so eager to make this information known; perhaps due to local marriage laws.

MW coaching staff say they eager to see if Derek carries as big of a bat as the rumors indicate.

March-Westin is scheduled to have their first non-mandatory practice of the season Tuesday April 3rd at 6pm.  This practice is only expected to last one hour.  The exact field is still undetermined.
