March-Westin Welcomes Derek Smith to Lineup

500In the latest example of March-Westins “don’t ask don’t tell” policy Derek Smith (pictured on the right) has been added to the 2007 roster. Coach Tom Smith was quick to point out that they are in fact not related, leading some to speculate why Tom would be so eager to make this information known; perhaps due to local marriage laws.

MW coaching staff say they eager to see if Derek carries as big of a bat as the rumors indicate.

    Derek is not related to me. Nobody from my family is gay. He is obviously gay. I don’t know anything about his “stick”.

    Just to set the record straight–Tom has been hounding me for months about my “stick”. I will undoubtedly leave a mark on MW softball. Tom, however, will continue to hit weak fly balls in the infield and will most likely ask to use my “stick”.
