OJ Stabs March-Westin

Not even Johnnie Cochran could save March-Westin Wednesday night as they faced OJ White in their season opener. MW just could not get the bats rolling in their AAA debut as they lost by a final score of 19-4.

March-Westin returns the majority of their starting lineup from last year’s team who finished 2nd place overall during the regular season (BOPARC League AA). MW has also added a couple new faces to the lineup, 3rd baseman Derek Smith and Left Fielder Tony Reed.

MW is expected to be competitive in this new league however they will need to shake off this early rust and start producing offensively if they want to keep up in the high scoring AAA division.

March-Westin is scheduled to play again Wednesday night as they take on Shane Transport.

The scorebook from Wednesday’s game can be viewed here (coming soon).

HA, the 25% of people who voted for Tom as MVP have clearly never seen Tom play.

That or they are some of the most crazy people in the world.

Tony and I are very upset that we are not included in the MVP vote. I was just beginning to feel like a real member of the team and this happens. Maybe some other team in the fall will think we are worthy.

In Scott’s defense, I do believe this question was up WAY before the rosters were ever talked about.

I mean, clearly this thing has no logic or merit to it. Tom is in 2nd.

Very good point Nick, but my feelings are very fragile.
