MW Corrals Auto Ranch
MW proved Thursday night why they might be one of the teams to beat this fall season by grabbing the bull by the horns and defeating Auto Ranch by a score of 15-0. Auto Ranch was unable to handle the full “8 seconds” and the game was called in the 4th inning with the mercy ruling.
MW hurler James Sanders was masterful on the mound recording one of the rarities in slow pitch softball, the shutout. James has even been showing signs of improvement on the other side of the plate as he is now 2-4 (.500) on the season.
Jennings once again lead the MW offense by going 3 for 3 at the plate recording a single, double, and triple while Nick added his second home run of the fall season. Brian Hill returned to the potent MW lineup, also going 3 for 3 including a walk-off single to end the game. In fact every member of the MW lineup reached base during the game, a sure sign that MW will be a force to be reckoned with this fall.
Sources close to the team indicate a healthy competition among MW players as they compete amongst themselves for the highest batting average. Dave and Tom seem to be most passionate regarding this statistic as they were overheard numerous times debating Dave’s batting average, which was recently lowered after a base hit was scored as an error on the fielder.

MW takes the field again for a double header on Tuesday, September 25 taking on the All-Star Open flight team Chippy’s at 8 and BOAZ at 9.
It’s deep, and I don’t think it’s playable: Nick-2, Wimer-1, Jackson-1
Players to watch: Dave 2-7 (.280), Tom 2-4 (.500)

This is bogus and will be under protest for the rest of the season…
Hey! I was 3-3 with the walk-off single darn it!
As I said before Dave, if you are so much better than myself and others then one little hit will barely dent your average. By the end of the season it won’t even be noticeable. Unless of course you aren’t as good as you think you are! DOH! But you have had some nice hits in our first two games.
Sorry Brian, fixed.
