MW Continues to Ride the Gravy Train with Biscuit Wheels

MW continued their march towards post-season play as they defeated The Bicuits Tuesday night.

Brian Hill proved to be a solid backup on the mound for MW who was without James, their starting pitcher, for the night.

Nick lead the MW offense with two home runs, one for a bases loaded grand slam. Jackson nearly increased his long ball total with a hit that fell just short, bouncing off the outfield wall. And Chris nearly hit for the cycle as he had a single, a double, and a triple.

Jared looked rusty after missing the previous weeks’ game, at one point overrunning 2nd base where he was promptly tagged out.

Although Biscuits put up 10 runs on the MW defense they were unable to close the gap in the 5th inning as the game ended by mercy rule.

Dave 23-40 (.575)
Tom 11-19 (.579)

Eggs over easy, with a side of bacon. It’s a grand slam: Nick-9, Jackson-3, Wimer-3, Brian-2
