MW stole a victory on Wednesday night by rallying to score two runs in the bottom of the 7th with two outs to win by a score of 10-9.  Trailing by a score of 9-8 in the last inning, MW managed to get a few timely walks and a single by Mark along with a walk-off single by Brian was enough to pull out a victory.

Nick returned to the mound and matched his career high for strikeouts in a game with 1.  Bringing his season total to 2.

Mark was strong on both sides of the game, hitting and fielding.  He was 3-4 at the plate with the game tying single to right field.  He also had what might be one of the catches of the season for MW doing his best Willie Mays impression. Mark has reportedly been pleased with improvements in his throwing accuracy, notably from foul territory, which is what makes him a man.

Tom has also indicated his desires to be a man, in this case he intends to accomplish this by improving on his total number of doubles for the season by 100%.  That’s right sports fans, Tom intends to his his first double this season in the very near future.

MW takes the field for a doubleheader on Wednesday, July 16th with a game against Area 51 at 9 and Morgantown Sports Supply at 10 on Whiston Field.
